7 for 7: A Powerful Ride for Men’s Mental Health at Winton Motor Raceway
Every day in Australia, we lose seven men to suicide. Seven fathers, sons, mates and partners. This week, from June 9th to 15th, marks Men’s Mental Health Week, a time to raise awareness and take action. The national challenge is simple but powerful: run, walk, or ride 7 kilometres for 7 days, in honour of the seven lives lost each day.
For one of our drivers, Harry, the 7 for 7 challenge holds deep personal meaning. Determined to raise awareness for men’s suicide prevention, he brought his mission to Winton Motor Raceway in a truly heartfelt way.
On the morning, before our Friday Test & Tune Day commenced, before any engines had started and while the track was still wrapped in fog, Harry quietly completed on track his 7km ride on his push bike. His dedication set a powerful tone for the day, reminding us all of the importance of this cause.
Taken from Harrys donations page:
Hi there,
Men's mental health awareness is a issue very close to my heart. Almost 10 months ago I lost my Dad to mental health issues and it has seriously broken my heart. I am doing this little challenge to try and raise awareness and money for the demon that is men's mental health. The money goes towards helping fund the Shaka Projects support groups and workshops for everyone and most importantly the younger generation.
I am trying to fundraise $2500 to help THE SHAKA PROJECT. Please help me by making a donation through my page.
It only takes a minute and any money you can give (no matter how large or small) will go a long way to helping me reach my target.
Thank you, I really appreciate your support.
Harry.

Together, we can break the silence, challenge the stigma, and stand up for the seven lives lost every day. Every step, every ride, and every donation brings us closer to change.
