One Lap Shootout Challenge
The format will be as follows: the top three overall point scorers from the combined results of Race 1 and Race 2 in each category and class will progress to a Sunday morning one lap shootout.
The winner of the 1 lap shootout in each category and class will receive:
50% discount on their next VMRC entry (Excluding The Bend)
FREE garage of their choice at the next VMRC event (Excluding The Bend)
We will also invite each Category Manager, or a nominated representative, to randomly draw three additional competitors from a hat to participate in a one-lap bonus shootout. The winner of this shootout will receive a complimentary Test & Tune entry at Winton Raceway.
This session will not form part of your category championship results, this will be conducted as an additional bonus activity for competitors, offered at no extra cost.
FREE Saturday Night BBQ
VMRC will be hosting a complimentary Saturday evening BBQ dinner for all VMRC competitors, crew members, and families.
As part of the evening, Marcos Ambrose, AASA’s Competition & Commercial Director, will lead a Q&A session to discuss upcoming circuit racing developments, outline key changes under AASA, and provide insight into plans and initiatives for the 2026 season. The session will also give competitors the opportunity to ask questions and share feedback.
When: Saturday, 21 March
Time: 5:30pm – 7:00pm (bar open from 5:00pm)
Where: Winton Raceway Showroom (same location as sign-on)
