2026 Winton Super Sprint Calendar
After a very successful year in 2025, the Winton Super Sprints return with a four-round calendar in 2026.
As the name would suggest, all four of the sprint series rounds take place at Winton Motor Raceway in country Victoria, just a couple of hours north of the Melbourne CBD.
The Winton Super Sprint Series contains no less than eight vehicle classes, for cars of all shapes and sizes, and drivers of all ages. Some classes are for road vehicles and others for racing machines.
The categories are as follows, Racing Cars Over 2 Litre, Racing Cars up to 2 Litres, High Performance over 2 Litre, High Performance up to 2 Litre, Road Registered Over 2 Litre, Road Registered up to 2 Litre, Open Wheel/Clubman and Junior.
The four rounds are spread evenly, taking place every couple of months.
Round 1 occurs on April 11, before Round 2 on June 13, the penultimate event takes place on August 22, with the final Super Sprint on October 31.
Each Winton Super Sprint event is a one-day meeting in which every class has 5-6 sprint sessions of 15-20 minutes.
Like a qualifying session all drivers are attempting to set the fastest possible lap time.
At the end of every round, competitors will be awarded points, with the fastest driver taking home the maximum points haul.
Points are awarded each round with bonus points handed for those attending all rounds.
Trophies will be given to the first, second and third placed drivers in each class at all rounds, as well as the overall championship trophies at the conclusion of the final round.
The Winton Super Sprints are a fantastic way stepping into the world of motorsport. You get all the thrills of competing against the clock on a racetrack without a lot of the spills.
The sprints are very relaxed and affordable way of getting into the sport, you can even do it in your road car.
The entry fee is $195 per driver/vehicle for each Winton Super Sprint round, or $100 for Juniors (14-17 year old). The price of entry includes a garage or carport.
