Crowd flocks to Winton Christmas Twilight Market
The Winton Christmas Twilight Market took place on the evening of Saturday the 6th of December and was a mammoth success. The market took place from 3pm until 8.30pm and in that time well over 1,100 people attended the free event at Winton Motor Raceway.

It was the perfect opportunity for locals to grab some dinner, or buy some Christmas gifts for loved ones with delicious food and local produce, handmade crafts or even clothes, homewares and Christmas goodies.
There was plenty of options with over 50 stallholders in and around the Winton precinct.
The whole family were entertained including the kids, with face painting and an opportunity to meet Santa Bob. There were giveaways also on offer thanks to the Twilight Market Raffle.
One of the unique characteristics of the Winton Christmas Twilight Market is it combines the market with a motoring element, being Winton Motor Raceway this should be of little surprise.
The unique event really does combine the magic of Christmas with the thrill of live motorsport, perfect for families, racing fans, and holiday shoppers alike.
There were 80 Show N Shine cars hosted by Wangaratta Cruise Night at the racetrack. After the Show N Shine, the machines took to the track, just before the hot laps took place.
Yes, some lucky fans were given a one in a lifetime opportunity to be the passenger in the Hyundai i30N Safety Car and Holden Course Car driven at pace around the 3km racetrack. It was so much fun even Santa had a go, and I can report, thoroughly enjoyed it!
